Model United Nations

Model United Nations is an organization that offers young adults
an exciting and unique experience where they learn about global
issues and international organizations in the world we live in.
In class, MUNers cross back and forth between social sciences,
mathematics, life and physical sciences, language arts, and other
curricula. A MUNer must investigate and utilize analytical thinking
while using critical thinking and speaking skills. MUN students also
assume the roles of diplomatic representatives to the U.N. to present
resolutions and to enter in debates. Our MUN class takes a trip
to the Hague in the end of January where we present our own
resolutions among more than 3,500 other students from around
the world in order to create a better world for all persons.
