The "A" Team

The Ambassadors Program (otherwise known as the A-Team) was created during the first quarter of the 2006-2007 school year in the hopes of better welcoming any new students to LHS. The group will assign a veteran LHS students to newcomers in order to make the transition from high schools easier. We plan on providing pamphlets, flyers, maps, and other such information to these new students...as well as host a quaterly "New Student Bash," complete with food and an English customs powerpoint. Once the A-Team has settled in, they hope to expand into other areas...such as hosting dignitaries or having seminars. Thus far, the team has held three meetings with students as well as two chairpersons for each grade and other committee members. If you have any ideas, comments, or potential projects for the A-Team, please email the administration.
